No, our emitters do not require programming in order to operate or be detected at intersections but they can be programmed to send a specific code if that is needed.
Our emitters are offered with an optional VLF which is a visible light filter to block any visible light from being seen.
Yes, our T792HLB-20V and 3065B-20V provide a full strength emitter option
Yes, they can be but most vehicles have an IR style windshield. While IR windshields will assist in reducing the heat inside of a vehicle it will also unfortunately reduce the range that an emitter can send a signal.

TOMAR's ‘IC’ system increases safety and further reduces response times by providing visual feedback to first responders. It also helps reduce maintenance & calls from emergency responders that are not sure if their system is working.
Our integrated confirmation light system does not require the use of a load switch or external power supply to power the confirmation light nor does it require a secondary cable for each confirmation light which takes up more space in your conduit. All that is needed is a standard 3-conductor plus bare cable to operate both a detector & confirmation LED.
Yes, our system is 100% compatible & even interchangeable with those products. Our DETOC1, DETOC21 & DETOC22 detectors can be a direct replacement for 711, 721 & 722 detectors. Our OSPOCV2-2 (2-channel) & OSPOCV2-4 (4-channel) OSP cards can be a direct replacement for 764, 762, 754 & 752 discriminator cards.
Our R13LWP-SCII-x LED's are backed by a 5-year warranty but those same lamps have been used as accessory lights on vehicles for as long as 14+ years without needing to be replaced.
General FAQ's
TOMAR’s website advertises MSRP (List) pricing, with special discount pricing for orders placed online. For dealers and distributors, special pricing credentials can be issued but Customer Service can also provide price quotes based on account levels.
TOMAR’s warranty varies between product lines, and you can learn more at TOMAR WARRANTY. To see when your TOMAR product was manufactured, a four-digit date code on the product will give you year and week. For example, 0521 is the 21st week of 2005.
If under warranty, TOMAR can offer replacement parts up-to full replacements of products. An RMA should be started through https://tomar.com/pages/rma-request

The Strobeswitch Gate Access System is best tested using the 1760-14 handheld IR tester.
Using the Search field in the header, type in the product’s part/catalog number/SKU.
The product’s part number can be found on the attached sticker.
Product lead times vary based on stock availability, or engineering work needed to complete a custom request. TOMAR can ship immediately for products in stock, and typically ship within two-weeks of to-be-built orders.

Following placing your first online order, respond to the confirmation email with your tax exemption document and your order will be credited the tax. Additionally, your account will be updated by TOMAR to not charge tax on future orders.
