PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The model T792HL family of TOMAR STROBECOM II emitters are used on authorized vehicles to activate TOMAR STROBECOM II OSPOCV2 & DETOC Series, along with GTT Opticom* optical preemption and priority control systems. The T792HL-LOPRO is self-contained, weather resistant, and operates on 12 or 24 VDC vehicle power. The T792HL–LOPRO-R is a remote power supply system designed for installation where available lighthead space is limited. The T792HL–LOPRO-R has all the same features of the T792HL-LOPRO.
Configured via optional software, the T792HL can emit any of 10,000 GTT Opticom vehicle ID’s in 10 classes of either command (high) or advantage (low) priorities. The T792HL is equipped with continuous self-diagnostics with visual feedback and a highly adaptable automatic disable system to prevent intersection lockup. An optional visible light filter can be added to make emitter operation invisible on undercover, transit, or maintenance vehicles.

Why Strobe and not IR LED?
A TOMAR strobe emitter puts out over 100 times more peak Infrared power in its flash than a LED emitter does. The TOMAR strobe uses some of this peak power advantage to project a substantially wider beam, making it easier for an intersection or Strobeswitch gate access-point to detect an approaching emergency vehicle at higher off-axis angles. This also allows TOMAR emitters to have a standard performance rating of over 2,500 feet, and in many cases, a line-of-sight range of a mile. All of this equates to vehicle preemption taking place sooner, and reducing risk.

FAQ's
How far do your emitters send the signal?
TOMAR emitters are detectable from approximately 2500+/- feet
Do TOMAR emitters come with a warranty?
Yes, our 3065 & T792HL style power supplies are backed by an industry leading 10-year warranty. Our 401 power supplies & strobes are backed by a 2-year warranty
Are these IR emitters?
Yes, our optical emitters send a IR or infrared signal
Do they require programming?
No, our emitters do not require programming in order to operate or be detected at intersections but they can be programmed to send a specific code if that is needed.
What is the VLF?
Our emitters are offered with an optional VLF which is a visible light filter to block any visible light from being seen.
Do you offer a handheld version?
Yes, our T792HLB-20V & 3065B-20V provide a full strength emitter option
Can emitters be mounted behind a windshield or on a vehicles dashboard?
Yes, they can be but most vehicles have an IR style windshield. While IR windshields will assist in reducing the heat inside of a vehicle it will also unfortunately reduce the range that an emitter can send a signal.
