PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The ECMPS-PROGCAB Programming Cable is designed for seamless programming and reprogramming of TOMAR’s 3065 and T792HL Series preemption emitters. This specialized cable utilizes a serial port connection to configure vehicle codes and adjust other programmable options stored within the emitter.
By accurately setting vehicle identification and priority codes, the ECMPS-PROGCAB ensures that the emitter transmits precise optical signals to traffic control equipment, enabling reliable preemption and smoother travel routes for emergency and priority vehicles.

What's Needed
- Access to compatible TOMAR configuration software or utilities.
- An authorized service laptop with an available serial connection (or an approved USB to serial adapter).
- Proper credentials or programming rights per agency policy.
System Requirements
- An IBM compatible PC, 486DX or better, with a minimum of 16 MB of RAM. A Pentium class computer with 32 MB of RAM is recommended.
- Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7. Only 32 bit versions of Windows fully support ECMPS 3.2. A version of ECMPS 3.2 is also included for 64 bit Windows that supports only the 3065 and T792HL emitters. Administrator rights are required to install and run ECMPS 3.2.

- An RS-232 to USB-C adapter cable, along with a USB-C to USB-A adapter, is included.
